Quatro SPU Double Medium-Duty
The SPU Double Medium-Duty stand alone polisher features a dust collector with the addition of a tabletop containing two Quatro fully-enclosed ClearView Hoods with 2X magnification on each, and two 1/2 HP single-spindle two-speed motors (tapered spindles included). The energy-efficient, LED lights in the hoods use up to 75% less power than incandescent lights and keep your work area much cooler. Also available is an optional external H250 silencer (854-1528) to bring the noise level to 59 dBA.
The Quatro SPU Double Medium-Duty dust collector is ideal for containing and capturing your precious metal dust. It utilizes a 2-stage filtration system to capture all, not just a portion of it, and thus recovers more metal for refining. The first stage is the high-capacity, sealable filter bags (854-2189) where most dust particles are captured. Super fine particulate is captured at the second stage with a high efficiency HEPA filter (854-2079). This dual stage filtering system is 99.97% effective on particles as small as 0.3 Microns in size. Efficient and requires no additional venting from the workspace. The SPU will handle all the dust particles that comptetitive models cannot filter, thus leaving a cleaner air environment.
ClearView Hoods are at counter height 35" (88.9cm). If you require more height, optional casters (854-1473) are available, adding 2" (50.8mm). Optional accessory drawers (854-2073) are also available for storage of your buffs and polishing compounds. Made in Canada.
