Polished wood handles with metal ferrules for holding Swiss Pattern Hand files and American Pattern files.

Easy to attach: fix the file in a vise with its tang pointing up, place the starter hole in the handle over the file tang, and tap the handle with a rawhide mallet to push it onto the tang.
